The name Hermon comes from Psalm 133. 

"How wonderful it is
when people live together in peace.
2 It is like the ointment oil
which was poured on Aaron's head 
and who drips on his beard,
drips down to the bottom of his clothes.
3 It is like the dew of Mount Hermon
who descends on the hills of Zion.
For there the Lord gives his blessing and life forever."
